My bears are made from german mohair or alpaca and occasionally I also use high quality faux fur. They are stuffed with sheep-wool, fibrefill and/or different kind of granulates.
All teddybears have traditional cotter pin joints to make them move. They have handmade german glass eyes and embroidered noses and claws or sometimes a sculpted nose. All realistic animals have a complete spine to make them move into almost every position and they have a sculpted nose and claws.
I set great store on a perfectly finishing and also stuffing is done with great care, so the bear is able to cut a good figure even many decades later. All teddies come with their very own "Baerenbaude"-Passport, which of course is valid worldwide. Naturalistic bears and animals come with a certificate. All bears/animals come with my paw insignia.
At last you probably asked yourself about the meaning of the name "Baerenbaude" ? Well, this was coincidence. During a side-trip we stopped for a break at a "Baude" (shelter) and here I had the idea: a shelter for bears = "Bear Shelter = Baerenbaude".
Well, now I hope you will enjoy my website and if you have questions, please don´t hesitate to contact me.
Beary greetings,
